With building up a highly modern equipped technical center for process engineerical qualification in chemistry and chemistry related occupation, the Verein zur Förderung gemeinnütziger Bildungs- und Beschäftigungsmaßnahmen Dresden e. V., as
project executing organisation,
created optimal requirements for successful learning high-tech occupations in saxony.
The technical center is set out of two functional units.

- a productional learning factory with 6 different multi purpose units (MZA)
Beside the realisation of process engineering unit operations it is also used to perform the exams of the occupation Chemikant and if needed beyond that.
The technical center was given to non-fee use to Sächsischen Bildungsgesellschaft für Umweltschutz und Chemieberufe Dresden mbH by the society in 2001.
The extended and modernised technical center for process engineering was brought on operation in 2011. In scope of this measure the technical center was considerable expanded by the inclusion of additional space. The offer of traineeships were supplemented by a multi-use facility for medical and thermic ground operations, trainee places for SPS, a flow testing facility, a photobioreactor and a machine for plastic converting.
Furthermore in all devisions of the technical center for process engineering modernization and replacement investments took place.
